Peter is currently working on a PhD research programme. The research considers the question: where should government effort focus to ensure continuity of talented and skilled individuals willing to join the creative industries to keep it at the forefront of the international market?

Key themes to this research include government policy making and skills policy in particular, industrial policy, the nature of creativity, careers and the understanding of what is a successful career.

Several papers have examined the nature of labour market economics.

Most can be found on ResearchGate.
